CLAIM NOTICE
NOTICE is given of the death of John Allen Lynch, of Pana, in Shelby County, Illinois. Letters of Office were issued on the 24th day of March, 2017, to Debby L. WolfeLynch, whose address is 699 State Highway 16, Pana IL 62557, as Independent Executor, and whose Attorney is John J. Baker, Jr., 132 North Broadway, P.O. Box 229, Shelbyville, Illinois 62565.
Claims against the Estate may be filed in the Office of the Clerk of the Court at the Shelby County Courthouse in the City of Shelbyville, Shelby County, Illinois, and with the Independent Executor within six (6) months from the date of the first publication. Any claim not filed within six (6) months from the date of the first publication, or claims not filed within three (3) months from the date of mailing or delivery of Notice to Creditor, whichever is later, shall be barred. Copies of a claim filed with the Clerk must be mailed to or delivered to the Independent Executor and to the Attorney with ten (10) days after it has been filed.
Furthermore, the Claimant shall file with the Court proof of any required mailing or delivery of copies.
Notice is given to Amber Lynch and Unknown Heirs of John Allen Lynch, Deceased, who are heirs or legatees in the above proceeding to probate a will and whose name or address is not stated in the petition to admit the will to probate, that an order was entered by the court on March 24, 2017 admitting the will to probate.
Within 42 days after the effective date of the original order of admission you may file a petition with the court to require proof of the will by testimony of the witnesses to the will in open court or other evidence, as provided in section 6-12 of the Probate Act of 1975 (755 ILCS 5/6- 21).
You also have the right under section 8-1 of the Probate Act of 1975 (755 ILCS 5/8-1) to contest the validity of the will by filling a petition with the court within 6 months after admission of the will to probate.
